In continuation of my research of planar material, I refined a single broad bend in creating the shell for a chair. Cutting a pie shape away from a circle and curving it to connect the edges creates the three dimensional chair shell. The wide seat invites users to have freedom with their posture, and the long line of the outside curve functions as a armrest. The form of the legs echos the chair shell’s perimeter.
